And Then There's the Cat...

This is Shorty. Shorty is a female domestic short hair cat. Shorty is three years old. Shorty is an ungrateful, snobby asshole.

There. I said it.

Shorty was rescued from an abandoned home by my husband when she was a teeny, tiny, innocent little kitten. She was nice for about the first 4 months of her life.

Now, shorty hisses or growls at anyone that walks near her, breathes her air, slightly disrupts whatever area she may be inhabiting, or looks at her the wrong way. She has selective hearing and a killer resting bitch face. Shorty is only friendly when you are going to feed her. After that, you are the dirt beneath her prissy little paws.

Shorty is not our favorite member of the family.

But you can tell that we still "love" her because we continue to feed her, house her, pay her veterinary bills, and scoop her feces from her litter box.
